Before we broke up for the summer, we spent our final few weeks at ASA working on something really special. 🌈✨

Our Pride Project is finally ready, and we’re so excited to share it with you! The full video drops tomorrow at 5 PM. 🎬

A huge shoutout to our fabulous Commercial teacher, Elle Taylor, who was the creative mind behind this incredible project and also deserves credit for the fantastic videography. 💖

We had the best time creating this piece together, and we can’t wait for you all to see the fun, energy, and love that went into it. See you tomorrow at 5 PM! 🌈🎥

☀️ SUMMER INTENSIVE FACULTY ☀️

We’re thrilled to introduce the incredible faculty leading this year’s Summer Intensive!

✨MAXIMILIAN JARISH – Contemporary Fusion
Maximilian is a London-based teacher and choreographer with an international career spanning performance, teaching, and choreography. After graduating from Bird College, Max has worked across TV, film, and theatre as both a choreographer and dancer.

While Max continues to teach throughout Europe, over the past year he has focused on collaborating with leading dance colleges across the UK, sharing his expertise and inspiring the next generation of performers.

✨REISS HINDS – Hip Hop / Commercial
Reiss began his dance training at the age of 17 before going on to train at The Urdang Academy, where he graduated in 2013 with a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre and Dance Performance.

Reiss has performed across television, film, and stage, with credits including Disney’s live-action film Cinderella, the four-time Olivier Award-winning West End musical In the Heights, and as a semi-finalist on Britain’s Got Talent with Four Corners Dance Company.

Reiss is the Artistic Director of Daisy Roots Movement, a London-based Drum & Bass and Jungle dance collective. Through this, he has choreographed and performed with numerous artists, record labels, and festivals.
Since COVID, he has also trained and performed with leading hip hop companies, including Birdgang, Corded, and Empyrean.

✨KIRSTIE SMITH – Jazz Tech
Kirstie trained at Bird College and is a fully qualified teacher with the RAD and ISTD, as well as an Acrobatic Arts Coach. She is one of the Owners and Principals of ASA Theatre Arts and is also the Owner and Principal of Step onto Stage, a theatre and dance school based in Coventry.
Kirstie has performed at a range of prestigious venues, including the Royal Albert Hall and the Adelphi Theatre. Alongside her performing career, she has choreographed and co-created productions within professional theatre, bringing a wealth of industry knowledge and creative experience into the studio.
