It’s been great to see our new Year 7 students settling into life at Redmoor this week. They’ve been finding their way around the school, getting to know their new tutors, meeting new friends and getting used to their new routines.

They’ve made a really positive start and we’ve been impressed by the responsibility and resilience they’ve shown throughout their first week.

It’s been a positive start across the school too, with all year groups settling back into lessons and getting back into the routine.

Well done to all our students, we’re looking forward to a great year ahead!

Redmoor Academy Results Day 2026!

What an incredible morning at Redmoor as we celebrated the exam results of our ‘Class of 2026’. We couldn't be prouder of our Year 11s.

Great achievements are rarely down to luck or talent alone: they are built through continued effort, dedication and great resilience. These beliefs sit at the core of our Redmoor DNA and seeing our students celebrate with their friends and teachers this morning was a brilliant reminder of how hard they have worked - and what a special group of young people they are.

A massive thank you to all of our incredible Redmoor staff, and to our wonderful parents and carers for all the late-night revision, pep talks and support along the way. It really does take a village!

To our Year 11s: whether you’re heading off to college, starting an apprenticeship or stepping into training, you leave us ready for whatever comes next. We are all so very proud of you and wish you every success for your very bright futures - remember, Redmoor for life!

Today is GCSE Results Day, and we want to wish all of our amazing Year 11 students the very best of luck!

Your results will be available to collect from the Main Hall from 9am.

Whatever your results, remember how hard you have worked and how much you have achieved. We are incredibly proud of you all and excited to see what the future holds for the class of 2026!

We hope you have all had a wonderful and restful summer break!

We are so excited to welcome our students back to Redmoor Academy next week and to get a new academic year under way.

Whether your child is joining us in Year 7, returning for another year, or beginning their GCSE year in Year 11, we want everyone to start the term feeling prepared and ready for a successful term. To help with this, we have brought together the key information and reminders you will need ahead of the first day back.

Start Dates and Arrival Times:

Tuesday 25th August: Year 7 and Year 11 only
Wednesday 26th August: All year groups
Arrival: All students need to arrive by 8:35am at the latest, as registration begins promptly at 8:40am.
Monday 31st August: Bank Holiday – the school will be closed.

We’re delighted to welcome Hinckley Town Pickleball Club to our brand-new sports hall!

Their fantastic summer programme is now underway, offering a great range of coaching, social play, match play and junior sessions for all abilities.

Whether you’re completely new to pickleball or already love the game, we’re thrilled to be able to provide a fantastic new home for this growing local club.

Last week’s Prom was a brilliant evening from start to finish!

It was great to see everyone making such an effort with their outfits, enjoying the dancing, celebrating the award winners and spending time together before the end of the school year.

We hope everyone had a fantastic night and left with plenty of great memories!
