All students will return after the summer holiday on Wednesday 26th August, with the following arrival times:

✨Year 12 students should arrive from 8.15am ready for a prompt start at 8.30am.

✨Year 13 students should arrive from 8.45am ready for a prompt start at 9am.

✨Good luck to everyone collecting their GCSE results today!

We look forward to meeting all our new students today as they officially enrol here at The Hinckley Sixth Form. Whether you achieved the grades you expected or not, our team are here to discuss how we can best support your future.

▶ A quick reminder about arrangements for enrolment:

Thursday 20th August 2026, 11am-1pm

Once you’ve received your results, and have secured the grades to meet our entry requirements, you can officially enrol as a Year 12 student at The Hinckley Sixth Form.

Enrolment will take place on GCSE Results Day! Please bring your results statement with you to enrol.

If you are a student from The Hinckley School, Redmoor, Saint Martins or Hastings, then a member of our team will be at your school on results day to enrol you straight away. Just make sure you head over to see them after opening your results!

Applicants from all other schools, or those who have decided to join us but not yet applied, are invited to visit The Hinckley Sixth Form, Butt Lane, Hinckley, LE10 1LE, to enrol between 11am-1pm on Thursday 20th August.

When you arrive on site please head to main reception and you will be shown over to the sixth form building.

⭐️A Bright Future in Finance ⭐️

Abieyuwa celebrated her results today alongside her mum and brother, who is following in her footsteps at The Hinckley School.

Her celebrations were well deserved, as she achieved a Distinction* in Health and Social Care, an A in Business and an A in Maths. She said, "I knew there was nothing more I could do when I woke up this morning, but when I opened my results, I was so happy. I will now be going to De Montfort University to study Accountancy and Finance, with the aim of becoming a Chartered Accountant at one of the Big Four firms."

Having joined the school in Year 10, Abieyuwa reflected on her time with us: "It has been such a wholesome experience. I have enjoyed everything; it has just been amazing. I am thankful to my teachers for all their help. I have had Miss Bull since I first started, and she has been amazing throughout and such a great support."

She added, "I am sad to be leaving but excited for this new chapter. Sixth Form has made me feel equipped and prepared, as the whole place felt like university already."

⭐️ One Step Closer to Her Dream Career ⭐️

Millie is now one step closer to making her dream of a career in sport a reality after achieving an incredible A* in Physical Education, A in Geography and a B in Maths. Her top grade in PE has helped her secure her first-choice destination: a place to study Sports Management at Loughborough University.

Reflecting on the past two years, she shared, "I have really enjoyed my time in sixth form. Having more independence and making new friends has helped me feel ready for university. I am really happy with my results and now excited to start university in September."

Millie's mum joined her to collect her results and said, "I am really proud and happy that she got what she deserved, as I have seen all the hard work she has put in."

⭐️The End of an Unforgettable Seven-Year Journey⭐️

Anastasia and Madison are two of the many students who reached the end of their incredible seven-year journey with us today, as they collected their exam results.

Madison achieved an A* in Chemistry, an A in Geography and a B in English Language, and is now planning to study Chemistry at university. She said, "I am happy, relieved and proud of myself. I enjoyed the freedom and independence of sixth form, and I am now nervous but also excited for my next step."

Anastasia has secured her first-choice destination after achieving an impressive set of results, including an A in Drama and an A* in her Extended Project Qualification. She will now go on to study English Literature at the University of Warwick, as she follows her lifelong dream of becoming an English teacher.

Reflecting on the last seven years and her time at The Hinckley School, she said, "The last seven years have been amazing. I am very grateful for all the support from my teachers and for the friends I have made along the way. It is an experience I will treasure forever." Anastasia now has lots of celebrations planned with her proud family, who have even travelled from France and Canada for the occasion!
