Burbage Common Open Day!

A fun-packed day for the whole family is promised when Burbage Common holds its annual Open Day this Sunday 13 September, from 10am to 4pm.

As in previous years, the area around the Visitor Centre at the Leicester Road entrance will host the main event. A large marquee will play host to a range of stalls, including craft stalls, charity stalls, and local and national environmental charities.

An arena will also accommodate several displays throughout the day, including TKT Cheerleaders, Burbage Taekwon-Do Academy, a Tai Chi demonstration, Morris dancers and a ukulele band.

Demonstration Team
Students who have shown an interest in being involved in our Demonstration Team will be sent an email with further information about the event, including details of the demonstration and arrangements for the day.

We look forward to seeing everyone there and showcasing our students’ skills!

🥋 Great turnout at last night’s TKD class!

It was good to see our lower grades mixing in with the black belts and gaining valuable experience. Everyone worked hard learning a selection of sparring drills 🥊 and putting their skills into practice.
