Britannia Fields Playgroup are opening their doors for prospective Parents/carers/families. We invite you to come along down and spend time in our Playgroup where we will have on offer activities, refreshments, explore the indoor and outdoor environment and the chance to come and talk to our experienced team about your child's potential Playgroup journey, the process, funding and answer any questions you may have. We would love existing parents to also come along down for a stay and play Session.

Playgroup in progress: Since returning from our Christmas break the children's interests have taken us from being space explorers, doctors, vets and so much more. We have been revisiting classic stories such as goldilocks, and the three little pigs which has expanded far beyond just the story, to making bear puppets, building houses and structures out of different materials and even mixing porridge. We have enjoyed walks out and park trips practising our road safety and team skills.

The children have been enjoying our weekly visits to Sweet Pea & Snapdragon and from Woodykins, and a few visits a month from Kat at Drama Tots UK.
We look forward to sharing more of what our children get up to in a typical week here at Britannia Fields Playgroup 🐻 🐽 🚀 🌈 🔢 🎨

Good morning all.
Unfortunately due to the confirmed school closures today and the current weather conditions we have made the decision to close playgroup today.
Advice is currently to only travel if absolutely necessary and in order to keep all our staff and families safe we are following this advice.

Stay safe and we'll see you all next week.

Good afternoon everybody. As most of you may be aware there are currently weather warnings for heavy snowfall, which is expected over night. Our local primary schools are on standby in case there is a need for school closures.

With this in mind, we will monitor the weather and traffic conditions between now and the morning and make an informed decision regarding whether or not it is safe for us to open tomorrow. If we feel it is unsafe to open, based on travel conditions for parents and staff, we will put a message on our Class Dojo and our pages by 7.30am. Many thanks

Good morning . Our open day begins at 9am. We have a mini beast morning with lots of activities for the children and free refreshments for all. Come along and see what opportunities we can offer to your little ones 😃

We are based in the Millennium Hall, Britannia Road, Burbage, Hall 1

Can we all say a huge thank you and share our pride for Ria Mercer-Bowell for running the half marathon and raising an outstanding amount for our sister setting Britannia Fields Butterflies to help us to buy much needed resources.

Hello everyone, one of our parents is kindly raising money to support Britannia Fields Butterflies playgroup. SEND provision is very limited in the area and very underfunded with some children needing one 2 one care.

She is running a marathon at Stratford upon Avon and has reached 70% of her target already! The money raised will go a long way to help the success of Britannia Fields Butterflies and be put towards staffing and equipment. Any shares/donations/support is greatly appreciated. Thank you 😊
