This is always a real highlight of our PTA year and for our wider school community. We hope to see you all soon for another fantastic evening.

We would love you to save the date and share this with anyone who would be interested in coming along!

Congratulations to our newly appointed House and Vice-House Captains for 2026-27.

These children are from our Primary 7 year-group and were voted into their positions by adults who work in Meadow Bridge, as well as their peers in Primary 7. We look forward to seeing them lead by example and show responsibility and organisation throughout the year.

They received their badges in Assembly on Friday 28 August and we are thrilled to launch our House Competition for this year and look forward to see our pupils continue earning points for their Houses.

We cannot wait to welcome our boys and girls back to school this morning!

All of our Teachers and Classroom Assistants are so excited to greet them and welcome them into their new classrooms. We hope they are looking forward to another fantastic year of learning, laughter, friendships and lots of fun!

For all of our parents and guardians, don't forget about Mr. Brown's 'Midge On The Fridge' helpsheet (see attached!), which will keep you right with all the necessary information and key details as we get back into our school routines.

Here’s to a wonderful new school year ahead! We are so excited to see what the year will bring.

Welcome back, everyone!

As part of our ‘Out and About in Northern Ireland’ topic, we were delighted to welcome Matilda‘s Daddy, Mr Frazer into our P1/2 classroom recently to tell us all about his job as a pastor.

We learned that a pastor is like a shepherd, caring for, guiding, protecting and encouraging people in the same way a shepherd looks after their sheep. It was wonderful to hear about the many ways he helps and supports others in the local community across Belfast.

The children thoroughly enjoyed this fun and interactive visit, asking lots of thoughtful questions and taking part with great enthusiasm. We especially enjoyed completing our shepherd colouring page which minded us of the important role a pastor has in caring for God‘s people.

A huge thank you to Matilda‘s Daddy for giving up his time to come and share with us, we really appreciated your visit and all that you taught us. It was a lovely morning that helped bring our learning to life.

Today in P3/4 we made and experimented with a couple of different Rocket designs. We found that the shape of the nose cone is important and that we needed to make sure they were air tight to get a smooth ‘take off’.

🎹 **A Musical Morning in P1/2!** 🎶

As part of our ‘Out and About in Northern Ireland' topic, we were delighted to welcome Phoebe's Mummy into our classroom recently to share her wonderful job as a piano teacher.

We loved learning all about how a piano works and listening to her play such beautiful music. She also brought along some of her talented piano students from Meadow Bridge, who amazed us with their performances and told us a little about learning to play the piano.

The highlight for many of us was playing ‘Guess That Tune!' We listened carefully to different songs and tried to name them as quickly as we could. Frozen was definitely our favourite and there were lots of excited voices singing along!

The visit left us all feeling inspired and there were certainly lots of children talking about becoming future pianists!

A huge thank you to Phoebe's Mummy and her fantastic helpers for giving up their time to share their talents with us. It was a memorable morning that brought our topic to life through the joy of music. 🎵

Miss Campbell’s P5 enjoyed coming up with persuasive arguments for why the occupation they had been allocated would be the best. Lots of great group discussions and very clever presentations up at the front of the classroom.
