Louise is a Music teacher on the Wirral with 7 years experience of teaching in schools in England. She has 12 years experience with instrumental teaching and 6 years experience of running choirs and vocal groups. Louise has opened a school of music with the intention of developing confidence and musical skills in both children and adults. She has a great passion for music and believes in the school of thought that, with a little help, every person can sing. A wide variety of repertoire will be chosen to allow all singers to develop excellent vocal skills and, above all, enjoy singing! Musicality will be comprised of two main groups:
Little Melodies - this is the junior group aimed at children from the ages of 5 - 12 and will focus on developing children's confidence and 'musical ear'. Repertoire will include Disney, musical theatre and pop music and promote enjoyment when singing and also include some drama and dance skills within musical theatre. As the term progresses, we will develop vocal technique to improve range, breath control and tone. We will also develop the 'musical ear', paying attention to developing use of harmony in group singing, as well as preparation for auditions. Repertoire will include musical theatre, pop and gospel style music to instil a passion for music! Musicality Community Choir - aimed at adults of all ages, this is an opportunity for anyone who has always wanted to sing but not had the opportunity or the confidence to go for it! Repertoire will be made up of a wide range of styles, including pop music from 1950s to current music, musical theatre and gospel, so there will be something to suit everyone's taste!
