New online beginners/improvers class Monday evenings 7.15pm via zoom.
Yoga can really help you to develop and maintain a healthy lifestyle and everyone can learn to practice yoga! Now more than ever, it is important to recognise the value of staying as healthy as we can.
I am 50 years young and have had two spinal surgeries amongst other significant health problems over the last 30 years. I can honestly say that developing a strong yoga practice has been my saving grace and I know that it can help you no matter what your starting point is. I would love to help you to progress or embark on your own transformative yoga journey.
I have several years of teaching experience and I am a fully insured and qualified yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance UK. I am also currently studying towards a 200 hour Yoga Alliance Yoga Therapy Diploma.
If you have never practiced yoga before or have some experience but want to improve your practice this is the class for you. Please DM me for details.

π A Yin practice is the perfect complement to the busyness of life - and also to a strong βyangβ practice. Deep stretches held for 3-5 minutes, with modifications and support/props when needed, work deeply into the connective tissue or fascia. This stimulates blood flow, delivery of nutrients and hydration and facilitates healing on a deep cellular level. The practice can help us to really be present- finding quietness and stillness within ourselves. This allows our body to make the switch from the action of the sympathetic nervous system (stress response) to the action of the para sympathetic nervous system (relaxation response). Bliss! Always practice safely and listen to your body. Enjoy π
Yin 23/09/20 One hour Yin Yoga Class. Deep stretches with long holds. It's a good idea to have props available, cushions or bolster, blocks and a blanket. Enjoy :))
