Wow that's another Summer gone.
We have really concentrated on friendships and helping each other this summer.
We have been making lots of choices and deciding where we go for the day, on the bumpy bus, off to the Library, park, beach, rolling down hills, cafe trips and then just being together helping each other build towers, dens, turn boxes into cars, explore wood working and being as creative as we can be.

It's sad when some of our children move onto Preschool or school but we know that we have had a huge active part in helping them be the best they can be and that makes us really happy 🥰

🌿 What a wonderful month we've had so far! 🌿

This month we have been exploring our physical development in so many different ways, strengthening both our gross and fine motor skills through play and everyday experiences.

We've been climbing, running, swinging, kicking, throwing, sliding, blowing bubbles, helping friends with bubble wands, pushing each other on the swings, lending a hand up muddy hills, celebrating each other's achievements, taking risks, and discovering what our amazing bodies can do.

Our fine motor skills have been developing too through drawing, mark making, using tools, hammering, practising pencil control, colouring, pouring, and mixing.

Alongside this, we've been building strong relationships and important life skills. We've been working together, listening, communicating, taking turns, asking permission, showing respect, developing friendships, building trust, and growing in confidence and self-esteem. Every day the children are learning more about themselves, each other, and the world around them.

💚 We don't just play—we learn. Every moment of curiosity, every challenge, every muddy adventure, and every shared smile helps build the foundations for lifelong learning. Through play, children develop confidence, resilience, kindness, independence, and a love of discovering the world around them.

We have been concentrating on the Life cycle of a Caterpillar for a few weeks now and are very eager to watch our new baby caterpillars turn into beautiful butterflies. X

The weather may have been all over the place this month but so have we.
The park, farm, nature walks, beach, library, bumpy bus chatting to all our friends in our community, vegetable shop, holiday cafe, hills and so much more.
We have enjoyed the rainy days, windy, days cloudy days and sunny days.
The weather never stopped us from exploring 🥰

Looking back through the photos from our mindees’ days, it really made me smile 😊

We don’t spend hours on detailed planning, endless assessments, or creating picture-perfect activities just for social media. Our days aren’t about crafts that “look good” — they’re about real moments, real learning, and real connections.

What we do is learn in the moment. We give our older children the chance to guide and support the younger ones. We work together, explore together, and create our own exciting opportunities as the day unfolds.

We encourage every child to follow their own interests and discover their own learning paths… and of course, we join in when we’re invited (which is often! 😄).

And honestly? Yes, yes, yes — we absolutely love what we do every single day ❤️

Feb- March so far
The Sun was out and one of the children saw a car being washed in our walk this morning.
One asked can we wash Leah's car?
Yes of course we can.
100% of our learning happens from the children's interests. X
