**Friends at Play After School Club**

Friends at Play is a welcoming and vibrant after-school club providing high-quality childcare for children aged 3–12 years. We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring, and reliable individual to join our team and help create a safe, engaging, and fun environment where children can learn, play, and thrive.

**Location:** Little Kingshill, Buckinghamshire
**Start Date:** 7th September 2026

# # Working Hours

* Monday & Thursday: 2:30pm – 6:00pm
* Tuesday & Wednesday: 3:00pm – 5:30pm

There may also be opportunities to increase your hours through work within our Breakfast Club and Holiday Club for the right candidate.

# # About the Role

As part of our dedicated team, you will help provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children attending the club. You will support a range of activities, encourage positive relationships, and contribute to the day-to-day running of the setting.

We are looking for someone who is willing to get stuck in, bring new ideas, and add value to the club as we continue striving to be the very best version of ourselves.

# # What We're Looking For

* A Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or above) is desirable.
* Experience working with children aged 3–12 years.
* Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) would be a significant advantage.
* A positive, flexible, and proactive attitude.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* A genuine passion for supporting children's development and wellbeing.

We are recruiting for two childcare roles within our friendly After School Clubs. If you’re passionate about working with children aged 3–11 years, we’d love to hear from you!

📚 These roles are term-time only, with the option to work additional hours in our Holiday Club (8:00am – 5:00pm) if desired.

⭐ Deputy Manager – After School Club

📍 Location:- Hughenden area
🕒 Hours:- Monday – Thursday, 3:00pm – 6:00pm
📅 Start Date:- **As soon as possible**

**Essential:**

* Level 3 Childcare Qualification (or equivalent)
* Confident, reliable, and enthusiastic

**Desirable:**

* Previous leadership or supervisory experience
* Experience working in a nursery, pre-school, or wraparound care setting

💷 Pay: Negotiable, depending on qualifications and experience

⭐ Managing Assistant – After School Club

📍 Location:- Hazlemere

🕒 **Hours:**

* Monday – Thursday:- 2:45pm – 5:30pm
* Friday:- 2:45pm – 6:00pm
📅 Start Date:- 13th April 2026

**Essential:**

* Level 3 Childcare Qualification (or equivalent)
* Previous experience working with children in a nursery, pre-school, or wraparound care setting

This role is ideal for someone supportive, motivated, and passionate about providing high-quality childcare in a fun and safe environment.

We will be running our holiday club across the May half term at Little Kinghill combined school and Hughenden primary school.

The holiday club will be open from 8am - 5pm

We offer a 10% sibling discount.
