Let’s Get Ready to Tumble! 🤸

Who’s got what it takes to make the Wycombe High Gym Squad? 👀

The pressure was on today as students put their skills to the test at our annual Gym Squad Try-outs, led by School Gym Captain Felicity in Year 11.

From tumbles and balances to strength, skill and control, there was plenty of talent on show as hopefuls battled for their place in the squad.

They’re dancing their way to the Wycombe Swan! 💃✨

The auditions are over... but who made the cut? 👀

Wycombe High’s annual Dance Performance Group (DPG) auditions took place this afternoon, with students hoping to earn their place ahead of an exciting year of performances.

And there’s an extra reason to impress this year: DPG will be performing at the Wycombe Swan Theatre as part of the spectacular ‘Energize!’ dance event!

🎬 Head’s Up! is back!

What a start to the new school year! In her first video update of 2026/27, Headteacher Nicola Renyard welcomes our 192 new Year 7s, celebrates more than 200 students beginning Year 12 and looks back at a very special 125th anniversary activity day.

And there’s one big challenge still to complete… 👀

Our Giving Days total has now passed £10,800, which means we’re incredibly close to our £12,500 anniversary target.

WHAT A SUMMER! Swimming Medals, Borneo Adventures & New Beginnings

Wycombe High TV News is BACK, and there’s plenty packed into our first show of the new school year!

Our 192 new Year 7s have only been at Wycombe High School for three days… but they’re already very much part of the family. 💙

In fact, they’ve already made their first video for Wycombe High TV, the UK’s only student-led school TV channel! 🎥📺

Our newest students turned reporters and interviewees, grabbing the microphones and quizzing each other about their first impressions of Wycombe High.

What have they enjoyed most? What has surprised them? How are they finding their new school?

The result is funny, honest and rather heartwarming. 🥰

Three days ago, everything was new. Now they’re making friends, finding their feet… and appearing on WHTV!

🎓💙 200+ NEW BEGINNINGS: WELCOME TO WYCOMBE HIGH SIXTH FORM! 💙🎓
What an exciting day as more than 200 students begin Year 12 at Wycombe High, including 50+ students joining us from other schools! 👋
Their first day began with a welcome and briefing from Headteacher Nicola Renyard before it was time to meet their new classmates.
And what better way to break the ice than with an ancient mystery? 🤔🧩
The Obelisk Task is definitely not your average first-day activity! Students had to put their heads together, combining logic, communication, problem-solving and teamwork to crack the challenge.
A great way to begin two exciting years in the Wycombe High Sixth Form, described by Ofsted as a “beacon of excellence”. 🌟
We’re delighted to welcome another large Year 12 cohort and particularly pleased to see 55 students choosing to join the Wycombe High community from other schools.
Whether today felt like coming back to somewhere familiar or walking through our doors for the very first time, welcome to Wycombe High Sixth Form, Year 12! 💙
