🌟 Good News! 🌟

We’re excited to share that The Orchard Way Academy is exploring the possibility of introducing wraparound care for our Nursery children (ages 3 and 4)!

Before we move forward, we’d love to hear from our existing and prospective Nursery parents and find out whether this would be a useful service for your family.

What are we proposing?

We are looking at offering after-school care from 3.15pm until 5.30pm for our three- and four-year-olds.

This would be in addition to the wraparound care we already provide for children from Reception to Year 6, meaning we could offer after-school care for children from 3 years old right through to Year 6.

Our Nursery wraparound provision would run separately, with age-appropriate activities taking place in our brand-new Nursery spaces, which have been created over the summer holidays. Children would also be provided with a light evening snack.

Proposed cost

The proposed cost would be £5.50 per hour, in line with our current Nursery charges:

3.15pm – 4.15pm: £5.50
Full session, 3.15pm – 5.30pm: £11.00

We are warmly inviting parents to our Nursery & Reception Open Evening on Wednesday 23rd September, 5.30–7.00pm.
Come and meet our dedicated Early Years team, take a tour of our school, and see first-hand the nurturing and inspiring environment we offer.

A fresh start. A shared vision. A school full of possibility.
And now… we’re open! What a wonderful first week it has been. Our newly refurbished nursery has welcomed its first children, and it has been fantastic to see the spaces we have worked so hard to create come to life.
As our school begins this exciting new chapter as part of Chiltern Way Academy Trust, there is a real sense of energy, ambition and possibility about what lies ahead.
We’re incredibly proud of our new nursery and, most importantly, delighted to see it filled with happy, curious children already making it their own.
Here’s to new beginnings, shared ambitions and a very exciting journey ahead!
