Little Oaks is delighted to share the outcome of our recent CQC inspection:

We achieved an overall rating of Good with an Outstanding in the caring category ⭐ ⭐

This was our first inspection as a provider and as a team, we are all very proud of this accomplishment ☺️☺️

Caring is at the heart of everything we do, and we are absolutely thrilled that this was recognised during the inspection. ❤️❤️

We would like to thank our amazing team who are committed to delivering the outstanding care. 🤩🤩

We would also like thank our residents and their loved ones for being part of the Little Oaks family and for their continued support on our journey 🥰🥰

May 🌷🌷

It’s been a busy and fun packed month at Little Oaks…

Brains have been working hard each morning with “Word of the day”
*1 day we got over 100 words 🤗🤗

The residents enjoyed some arts & crafts sessions where they created beautiful collages of happiness.

Cakes and biscuits were decorated during a few cookery mornings.🧁🧁
*These were then devoured with afternoon teas.
🤤🤤

Friday mornings have of course been one of the residents favourite activities “Sam’s Famous Bingo” with her trolley of prizes 😁😁

We enjoyed a couple of afternoons with Heddy, where the residents (and team) donned hats and other props whilst singing and dancing along in her music & movement sessions 🎶 🎶

And this week we had a visit from the Rah Rah Theatre Company for a “Swinging 60’s” show.

There have been lots of smiles and moments.❤️❤️

It’s been a fun filled week at Little Oaks 😁😁

We started with Easter activities and treats at the beginning 🐣🐣
We had another trip to the garden centre mid week, returning with more flowers 🌷🌷
Ice lollies were enjoyed on the terrace in the glorious sunshine.☀️☀️
Then we ended the week by singing and dancing along with Heddy this afternoon 🎵🎵

It’s all about these precious moments ❤️❤️

What a beautiful sunny day.

The perfect weather for another Little Oaks trip out to the garden centre this morning.
😊 😊
We enjoyed lattes and shortbread in the cafe, before choosing some more flowers for the garden and also a cute little flowerpot man we just could not resist.
🌷🌷
The afternoon was then spent relaxing on the terrace and in the garden enjoying the sun and ice lollies.
☺️☺️
It’s the little things and the little moments that bring the biggest smiles.
