Y5's dreams came true yesterday when their amazing teacher, Mrs Staples, arranged a Zoom call with their favourite author Darren Shan! The children were brilliant, so well behaved, respectful and curious asking lots of questions and listening to Darren's reading in awe! Darren was great, giving us plenty of time and ensuring everyone got to ask their questions. Thank you Darren and Mrs Staples for sharing your love of reading with our children!

🌟 We did it! A massive thank you to Tesco for giving us this opportunity, to our PTFA for making it happen and to all of you that have been busy popping the blue tokens in to support us. We will really enjoy spending this money to enhance our outdoor areas for our children 🏆✨

Furness vale primary and nursery school is bringing back ‘ Messy Monsters’.

If you have a little one who loves to play or wants to get messy without the mess at home then this is for you! Babies, toddlers and pre schoolers welcome with their adult, come join the fun!

First session Tuesday 14th October at 1.30pm.

(Bring spare clothes 🫣).

Last week we were lucky enough to have the opportunity to get up close and personal with the 'Stockport Stitch' scarf - all 0.6 km of it! The scarf was created to raise awareness of dementia and will later be turned into blankets, well done to all involved 🤩

***Open Evening Wednesday 13th November***
We warmly invite you to attend our Open Evening on Wednesday 13th November 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm. We would love the opportunity to show you around our wonderful school and introduce you to our fabulous teaching staff.
