We would love the opportunity to show you around our wonderful school and introduce you to our fabulous teaching staff. The Open Evening is for families considering our school for Reception starters in September 2025 or for Nursery places. We canβt wait to meet you!
A huge thank you to the staff at New Mills School for giving our Y6s such an exciting science morning. We loved life in the science labs and the amazing practical demonstrations you laid on for us!

Class A were honoured to have a visit from Cathy Merry, Professor of Stem Cell Glycobiology yesterday, to celebrate great women working in science. Thank you so much for spending some of your valuable time with us we learnt a lot!

World Book Day has been fabulous! We had sessions with 'Take Part' celebrating 120 years of the one and only Dr Seuss! We dressed up as words, held a book swap (it was like Christmas in the hall with all of the beautifully wrapped books) and did some buddy reading....we sure love books at Furness Vale Primary School π₯°
Class B had a fabulous time at Manchester Museum of Science and Industry; getting up close and personal with the digestive system 'Operation Ouch! Food, Poo and You!
