🏖️ Sausage or Skewer Quiz - probably best we just leave it at that 🤪
🏝️ Paddle in the Sea 👣 🌊

Back at the caravan we got creative in the kitchen….

And possibly the funniest moment was when H & P asked for 3 Beans on Toast! 🤣

Staycation Report!!!

Our themed evenings are becoming quite popular…..

Speaking of ‘POPULAR’…..
Evening No. 1 was…. Yes you guessed it…. WICKED 💚🩷. Check out our Green Pesto Pasta with Pink Salmon with asparagus broomsticks 🧹 🍝 🍣 , Garlic naan 🧄, Dessert plate 🍇 🍉 🍰 . Any ideas what film we watched?

Evening No. 2. Continuing the witch theme we switched to Narnia and The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe 🦁 🧙 🚪 . Wardrobe shaped fajitas with chicken and vegetables 🫑 🍄‍🟫 🧅 🍗 🥙, Fruit & Chocolate themed desserts 🦁 🧙 🍫 🍌 🍓 and a bit of Alan 🦁 🎥

It was Hot Hot Hot so we finished our staycation with a well deserved ice lolly after summer yoga 🧘‍♀️.

ASPIRE 💭 …… PLAN 📔….. ACHIEVE 😍Somebody has been busy over the last week…

After our 8 miles round Carsington… 🥾

We held Business & Finance meeting for the project Heathers Designs and successfully budgeted for new supplies… 💷 ✂️

Learnt some new basketball tricks and played a tennis marathon 🎾 🏀…

Volunteered for a full day with the amazing Carrot Productions as part of Glossop Music Festival at the 50 yrs of Aardman Performance….. 🎭 🫖 ☕️ 🥤 🧽

And the highlight of the week….TAKE THAT with friends Abigail Paige Coaching and Support. Favourite band and she danced and sang all night! 🪩 💃 🎶 🎤 ❤️

Heather … you absolutely smashed last week and I’m proud to say we did it all together as a team. So many different activities, skills and memories - 😊

We have been quite a bit of walking recently….dodging the rain, wind and hail!

On Monday this week we broke a NEW TEAM RECORD…..8 MILES/12.5KM around the full reservoir loop at Carsington Water. 20,000 steps 😮….

Our previous walking record was 6 miles/10km so this was epic and we loved every minute 😊.

Drink stops every 1km 🥤
Lunch at 6km 🥪
And foam bananas for the last stretch! 🍬 🍌

Lots of laughs, learning & loving being outside ☀️ 🌲 🌳 🥾 💛

Short break time - to celebrate some special birthdays 😍 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

We had a great time at our birthday party, presents, cakes and karaoke. 🥳 🎁 🎂 🎤
Good fun at karate session for our friends with Abbie’s holiday martial arts coach Laura. H & N did their grading for their orange/green belt. 🥋 🧡💚
Picnic in the park, chatting and time on the swings. 🥪 🍇
Sunny afternoon on the beach, paddling and great time with friends. 🏖️ 🌊 ☀️
Team kite flying 🪁
Finished off with a fun trip to the amusements winning keyring pizza, burger and avocado! 🪙 🎰
We enjoyed spending time with friends for the weekend 🤗 and thank you to J for letting us share his lodge and to all the PAs for helping us enjoy our holiday. ☀️ 🚙 ❤️

Don’t think we need to add anything else other than….As always the Ab and the Bo in this unique team are ELC Borris working alongside Abigail Paige Coaching and Support - where we jointly plan and enjoy experiencing these amazing memories with the young people we support.

A couple of years ago one of our short breaks with Abigail Paige Coaching and Support took us to Northumberland…. We had unfinished adventuring…. So personally we took a week off from our busy work schedule and returned for further exploration…. 🗺️ 🚙 🤩

It’s Borris and Abbie - of course they will relax…. NOT! 😂
We conquered castles 🏰…
We bodyboarded til we froze 🏄‍♀️…
We elegantly ran up sand dunes🏝️ …
We trekked across trails and beaches 🥾…
We climbed 🧗‍♀️ …. (‘We’ might be a stretch!)
We played board games til silly o’clock… 🎲
We ate ice cream, fajitas, crab sandwiches and sausage rolls 🍦….

725 miles of making fun memories that I am sure our team and families will hear about for many months to come…. 🤗 - Sorry not Sorry 😂

Tomorrow we both will return to work for a busy end to the month

There’s nothing like a girly shopping trip… 🛍️

We had loads of fun trying hundreds of clothes on and successfully came home with…. Jeans, Tops, Shoes, Shorts & Holiday Bits… 👖 👕 🥿 🩳 ☀️

Maximised our discounts and had a great time.

Not sure if you have heard… 🤔
Because she has kept it so much of a secret… 🙄

But today is Abbie’s 30th Birthday 😮 🎂

Who is Abbie I hear you all say…. 🙂‍↕️

Well ….
A long time ago in a galaxy far far away….

Abbie joined High Peak Trampolining Club and hundreds of hours of planning, a thousand adventures, a million witty comments later she has created the ‘2nd best 🤭’ inclusive Sports and PA team in Abigail Paige Coaching and Support. The ELC team ‘always 1 step ahead!’ has the pleasure of working alongside her to maximise the fun across our world of work.

Abs….
🎂 We didn’t bake you a cake (because we wouldn’t have followed a recipe) 🎂 ❌

🎥 We didn’t make a you a funky video (because we didn’t plan 10 years in advance to have made this happen) 🎥 ❌

But we did create a selection of beautifully presented photos in equal sized boxes (apart from the last 3 coz we wanted to add a little bit of random creativity!)

In our next catch up… We focus on the importance of friendship and how much fun it brings. The Easter holidays provided numerous opportunities for our team to meet up with friends. The amount of time we all spent smiling and laughing has yet again created more memories….
