A lovely little bit of Summer Holiday news to share…

On behalf of Bentham Community Primary School we would like to say a huge congratulations to Mr and Mrs Lewis-Lennon on the birth of their beautiful baby girl Lily Florence Lewis-Lennon.

She was born just over 3 weeks ago. 🥰

Wishing Mr and Mrs Lewis-Lennon and family all the happiness in the world. We know there will be lots of children excited to hear this news and we look forward to meeting Lily soon. X❤️

We so proud to share some more of the wonderful work created at our Summer Art Club! 🎨

Our young artists took inspiration from Liverpool's iconic Superlambanana sculptures and created these fantastic models.

We hope all our families enjoy seeing the children's creativity, imagination and hard work.

A huge thank you, once again, to Mrs Coyle and Mrs Askew, who have gone above and beyond yet again to make our Summer Art Club such a special experience. Their enthusiasm, patience and dedication are truly appreciated.

Mrs Coyle and Mrs Askew both said that the children were an absolute delight to teach, and they should all be incredibly proud of themselves. We certainly are!

Well done to everyone for creating such amazing artwork over the last three days and sharing it for our page. 🌟🧡

🌿🎨 Summer Holiday Art Club 🎨🌿

Today we took our creativity outdoors, exploring the beautiful grounds of our school to collect natural treasures for printing and for our transient art creations.

Using leaves, sticks, petals, stones, pinecones and other natural materials, our young artists created wonderful temporary masterpieces inspired by the world around them.

Not only did this encourage creativity and imagination, but it also helped us appreciate the beauty of nature and the importance of working together with care and respect for our environment.

It was fantastic to see so many unique designs and smiling faces as everyone embraced the outdoors and let their imaginations flourish.

📢 Letters Home Today 📢

Please check your email, as we've sent home letters about two exciting events taking place in the new academic year!

🦉 Owl Class – Information about our educational visit to Leighton Hall on 14th September.

🎶 Years 5 & 6 – Details about taking part in Young Voices, an incredible opportunity to perform as part of one of the world's largest school choirs in which we need to send our commitment and numbers by 25th January.

We will follow up on these events in the new academic year but staff felt that early notice might be helpful to families. If you have any questions, please contact the school office.
