I ended up with only one tutee today due to an email I sent that I did not proof read... 😂

My apologies to all my tutees parents but I think, secretly, both parents and children were probably glad of a lie in on such a gloomy day!

The picture is of my boots after wading through my boggy back garden, to and from the tutoring room.

What a cracking Saturday morning!

The children loved the different activities on offer:

🌟 times table board games
🌟 reading comprehension
🌟 reading on their Kindle
🌟 lowest common multiple games

And of course... PRIZES!

At the end of every month, we have a celebration where we look at what we've achieved over the month and the children get to choose prizes foe their efforts.

Quote from one child: "Can you give me more calculations to do? I love them!" ... say no more! 🥰

🔢 We've done some algebra, which used to be one of my favourite topics within maths when I was younger!

⚽️ One of my tutees also got inspired by a comprehension we read last session and decided to write a letter about the gender pay gap within football! My tutee was really passionate about this and was shocked by the difference in pay between male and female professional football players.

I love it when our work inspires children to want to make changes in the world 🩵 🌎
