As we come to the end of another school year, this is a reminder that tomorrow is our final day in school. It promises to be a very special and emotional day for our Year 6 children, as well as for Mrs Daly and Mr Smith.
Our Year 6 pupils have prepared a wonderful End of Year Assembly, and we look forward to celebrating their achievements and wishing them every success as they move on to the next stage of their journey.
We will also be saying goodbye to two valued and longstanding members of the St Peter's family.
Mrs Daly has been a pivotal part of school life for many years, predominantly teaching in EYFS and helping countless children take their very first steps in education. Her dedication, care and commitment have touched the lives of so many families, and she will be greatly missed by all.
Mr Smith will be returning to school tomorrow afternoon for an official farewell following his successful secondment and appointment as Deputy Headteacher at a local school. We are incredibly proud of his achievement and wish him every success in his new role.
Tomorrow will be a day of celebration, reflection and gratitude as we honour the contributions of Mrs Daly and Mr Smith, and celebrate our fantastic Year 6 children in style.
