Some students start with a simple goal — and it turns into something remarkable.

Bo began learning Python with me at just 11 years old. When I asked him why he wanted to do the lessons, he simply said:

“I wanted to be better at coding.”

Since then, he’s progressed incredibly quickly — even surpassing many older students, including adults.

Recently, Bo entered the NASA International Space Apps Challenge, and his team won an award. He was the only member of the team who knew how to build GUIs with Tkinter — something he’d just learned with me a few weeks earlier.

He couldn’t wait to show me what they’d created in our next lesson. It made my week.

Every student’s journey is different — and every success matters.

Not every student’s start is easy — but with the right attitude and someone believing in them, amazing things can happen.

Sonny was in my first ever GCSE ICT class at a school supporting boys with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Academic success wasn’t the priority back then — but Sonny stood out from day one. He wanted to learn.

He worked hard, earned an A in ICT, and that GCSE became the turning point that led him to college, university, and a career in web development.

Today, he’s been a Front End Developer for almost 10 years, and now works as a Senior Web Engineer at MoneySupermarket.

I couldn’t be prouder of his journey — and it’s a reminder that every student’s potential is worth nurturing.

Connie’s Story ❤️

Not every win is about top grades — sometimes it’s about courage, belief, and a bit of laughter along the way.

Connie was my very first online student. She was home-schooled during treatment, came back to me for GCSE revision, and worked incredibly hard to get her Grade 5 in Maths — a moment I’ll never forget. ❤️

I recently reached out to her mum and got the most amazing update:

“She wouldn’t have done it without you!! She’s doing well — just turned 18, passed her driving test, got all A’s in her A Levels, and is off travelling before uni in 2026.”

🎯 Angles at the Centre and Circumference

Think circle theorems are tricky? Not anymore! 🔵

Here’s how to spot when the angle at the centre is twice the one at the edge — and use it like a pro.

(Yes, I’m talking fast — Reels had a 90-second limit… which apparently stopped existing right after I recorded this. 😅 Thanks, Meta/Facebook!)

Quick, clear, and Makin’ It Easy!

I was desperate for a ‘dog whisperer’ for my puppy Dougie, because after his first ever groom, he was so anxious that nobody else could groom him and he had to be sedated and basically shaved!

Luckily, Ang from Raw Feeding Plus UK, recommended Eleanor at Lune Dog Grooming. Eleanor was amazing from the start, and came up with a plan to get Dougie slowly used to the place, over a number of sessions, before even starting to do any grooming.

From then on, we’ve had no problems with grooming, and he always looks beautiful after every fresh trim (and you know what they say about dogs and their owners! 😆)

Eleanor has taken something that was traumatic for both me and Dougie, and turned it into something that’s great for both of us.

I can’t recommend Eleanor, and all the staff at Lune Dog Grooming highly enough. They’re all lovely and friendly as well.
