Happy Graduation 2026!!

How quickly the times comes around! We can't believe we celebrated our little learners graduation on Saturday, We had the most amazing morning! From the most talented face painters to all the magic and amazing balloons that were created, I'm sure we can agree it was the loveliest morning, we didn't want it to end! Here's some lovely pictures shared by our wonderful parents who were there to celebrate the event!

Now comes the sad part where our children start to leave for their next adventure, I think there will be some tears over the next few weeks!

What an absolute blast! 💙🎨
Spending time with all our Hetton families – past, present and future – at our annual Summer Paint Run was simply beautiful.
We kicked things off with a fantastic Steph warm-up before setting off on the run with our parents, all while getting covered from head to toe in colourful powder paint! 🌈
A huge thank you to St Oswald's hospice for providing the paint and supporting our event. We can’t wait to find out how much we’ve raised for you and will share the total as soon as we know.
Thank you to everyone who came along, took part, and helped make another unforgettable day. We can’t wait to do it all again next year! ❤️

Spring is here!
In our Little Creators 1 room, we have been exploring planting and how things grow - we've transformed our home corner into a garden centre where the children have loved taking care of different plants. Dressing up in aprons, sun hats and gloves to use trowels, forks and mini spades to transport soil between trays and pots - it's clear we've got some avid mini gardeners amongst us!

Outside, we've been doing some real planting! The children scooped soil into a growing pot and chose a sunflower seed to plant. We were amazed by the patterns on the seeds and spoke about how to help it grow. We placed the growing pots on the windowsill inside after watering them - we can't wait to see them start sprouting!

We've got plans to visit our local florists, where the children will see lots of unusual and beautiful blooms and bouquets. We're excited for the children to experience the sights and smells with awe and wonder!
