It's true that dyslexia primarily affects accurate and fluent word reading and spelling, but there's much more to it than that! Diagnostic reports and assessments cost a total of £300 and are written to enable students to access DSA at uni. We investigate all avenues of dyslexia including reading, writing, phonological processing, memory and rapid naming.

A few answers to three most asked questions:

How much is assessment?
The full diagnostic assessment is £300. We try and keep prices down to make assessment as accessible as possible.

How does it work?
We start off by booking a free consultation where we discuss the possibility of dyslexia based on your experiences of learning and everyday difficulties, as well as your areas of strength. If it seems like dyslexia could be present, we book face to face assessments (risk assessed and as covid-safe as possible) to test your reading, writing, spelling, and processing among other things.

When will my report come?
After the assessment, the report will be written up and sent to you within 2 weeks. The report will explicitly say whether dyslexia is or isn't present.
