Did anybody get to "see" the eclipse ?? 🌔 If you did share your pictures below with us we would love to see them.

Tomorrow evening (Wednesday 12 August 2026) we will be able to see a partial solar eclipse from the UK! A solar eclipse happens when the Moon moves between the Earth and the Sun and covers part of the Sun. In many parts of the UK, including East Yorkshire, around 90% of the Sun will be covered, making it the most impressive eclipse visible here since 1999. The eclipse will happen during the early evening and should be visible from about 6pm–8pm, with the best view around 7pm if the sky is clear.

Remember, never look directly at the Sun without proper eclipse glasses or a safe viewing method. It’s a wonderful opportunity to step outside together, talk about space, and enjoy a rare science moment as a family! 🌞✨

This eclipse is part of a much larger event that will be seen as a total solar eclipse in places such as Iceland and northern Spain.

We are so excited ( but also a little sad !) for our pre school leavers beach party celebrations tomorrow 🍦🎉🍦🥰 and can't wait to create more fun and happy memories 🥰

To our wonderful school leavers, watching you grow, learn and shine has been such a privilege. We are so proud of each and every one of you and will treasure the memories we've made together. Todays the day the robins preschoolers have been preparing for 🎉🎉 we have been practicing our races ready for our spectaculars to come and see ! Our running shoes are ready to go ! Don't forget we have a grown up race so don't forget to wear sensible shoes 👟 😜
We are looking forward to a fun filled afternoon full of fun and laughter 🥰
