Day out at Bridlington... 😊
What a lovely day we have had at Bridlington, firstly we took the train all the way to Bridlington enjoying breakfast on the train 🚆

We then walked up to the beach to find Kylie and Emma setting everything up, lots of fun had throughout the day running on the sand, playing lots of games and paddling in the sea.

We even went fossil hunting and even found some really cool seashells.

We then had some sausage and chips for lunch before having another play exploring the sand before heading off to the train station to enjoy an ice cream 🍦

Back on the train to nursery. What an amazing day!! 🌻

🌞 What an AMAZING Friday we've had at Hessle Play Day! 🎉💛

Our children had the best time getting involved in all the fantastic activities on offer. From bouncing away on the bouncy castle 🏰, taking part in relaxing children's yoga 🧘, to climbing aboard the emergency vehicles 🚒🚓 and meeting the amazing emergency service teams , there was something for everyone!

It was wonderful to be out in the heart of our community, seeing so many families come together and enjoying such a fantastic day. Events like this are a brilliant opportunity for our children to explore, learn, build confidence and create special memories.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped organise such a brilliant community event. We loved being part of the Hessle community spirit and can't wait for next year! 💛🌻

Toddler 2's Visit to the Park 🛝

Once all our friends had arrived we then headed out to the cart so we could head out to the park. We walked to the park saying hello to all the people we saw and waving at cars. 🚗 When we got to the park we had our morning snack of banana 🍌before going off to play. Once we had finished our snack we went off to explore the park we enjoyed playing on the swings. We was enjoying them so much we was shouting wheeeee!!
Next, we played in the slide before looking through the binoculars to see what we could see. We spotted some aeroplanes ✈ and some birds 🐦.
We was really good at taking it in turns to go on the roundabout going round and round.

🦉 National Owl Day 🦉

What a hoot of a day we've had celebrating National Owl Day! 🤎
Everyone at Sunflowers Too had an amazing day celebrating national owl day, Toddlers and babies all got creative making their own owls from a variety of creative resources...
Whilst preschool had lots of fun exploring, throughout the day, we discovered lots of amazing facts about owls! Did you know owls have three eyelids, can turn their heads up to 270 degrees, and even have wonky ears, with one often higher than the other? Learning about these fascinating creatures developed the children's Understanding the World as they explored the natural world. The children were especially thrilled when we were lucky enough to spot an owl this afternoon! 🦉✨

Our little learners got creative by making their very own owls, using a range of materials to express their ideas and imagination, supporting Expressive Arts and Design. 🎨🦉

We then headed out on an owl hunt. Although the owls were hiding, we discovered some magical fairies instead and couldn't resist having a joyful dance in the rain! Exploring outdoors and moving freely helped to develop Physical Development while encouraging imaginative play. 🧚🌧️💃

Baby room trip to Milk Well 🥛🐮

We headed off on a long walk all the way to the milk well where the children were very interested in watching the cows and the chickens🐄🐓. They also had a play in the tractor before we headed inside to get some yummy flavoured milk! the children loved trying the chocolate and the strawberry flavoured milk before getting back in the wagon to head across to the park. 🍓🍫

The children went straight off to explore all of the play equipment in the park like the roundabout, climbing frame and slide, seesaw and more! They’ve had lots of snacks and drinks throughout the day too. Once we had finished in the park we started our journey down to morrisons where we all enjoyed our lunch in the cafe! The children each had sausages, waffles and beans and they all enjoyed that.😋

Toddlers Trip to the museums

We have had a wonderful trip to the museums in Hull today. We had so much fun today. first off we headed to Hessle Train Station to catch the train into Hull. We had so much fun on the train and kept saying Choo choo. We then arrived into Hull and made our way to Ferens Art Gallery. We went and visited Moomin Valley and had so much fun exploring which character we was. Once we had finished in ferens art gallery we made our way to the streetlife museum. We had fun seeing how people lived before we had cars. We were also very lucky to have a ride on the carriage ride. The children loved this so much. We saw lots of horses 🐎, dogs and other animals. We then made our way over to the museum of archaeology. there was a trail which connected all the museums and we had to look for. After this we headed over to Queens Gardens to have our lunch. We loved this as we sat on the grass and had our picnic.
