Seed Bombs 💐

Big Toddlers have been making their own seed bombs in the garden this week! We have been looking at our own planting story talking about how we can grow different things 🌼

We rolled the clay balls in some wildflower seeds and are going to place them under the hedge in the front garden to grow our own flowers 🌻

Despite the rain ☔ our Baby Toddlers continued our spring theme activities by creating some sun catchers!🌞🌈

We began first by spreading the glue, before creating beautiful patterns using some tissue paper!

As a group we created: a rainbow 🌈, raindrop, cloud ☁, hot air balloon, a sunshine and a butterfly!

We can't wait to see the end result once they are on our windows!😊🌻

Today our Baby Toddlers had so much fun mark making on tinfoil using a variety of different resources 🎨

This activity supported our numeracy as we incorporated a selection of shape sponges such as: star, triangle, circle, triangle and heart ❤

We even used paint brushes and rolling pins in order to create lots of different patterns 👩‍🎨

Lots of fun Easter activities this morning!🐰🌸

The Babies have enjoyed our large scale table top messy activity, using real carrots, washing up brushes etc to explore and create lots of different marks 🎨 We enjoyed using a potato masher, to decorate our egg templates too 🐣🌸🌼

This morning our Baby Toddlers created our very own Easter Egg shadow painting picture! 👩‍🎨

We created this by using an Easter egg as a template, before using some cotton wool attached to a peg in order to decorate the background of our egg!😊💐🎨

This afternoon we headed outside to explore our sensory egg and oat tuff tray! We incorporated scoops, cups and pans in order to transport the oats, and even created musical instruments by putting oats inside of the eggs!🎵🎶
