Today was the last day for our college team, following the University’s recent decision to slash these important roles. Despite push back from our student body, today this decision saw an end to college teams across the entire University.
Many of you may not have know the college team personally, but their hard work has ensured that countless students for many years have received continued support, guidance but most importantly, a friendly face here at Goodricke. They worked tirelessly planning many many arrivals day, hosting events, assisting the committee in their roles or offering wellbeing support. They truly are the backbone of Goodricke college.
Thousands upon thousands of students have passed through Goodricke, from Freshers to Graduation. They’ve been a point of contact for each and every one of those students, every step of the way. Answering your questions, however big or small. They’ve been here for us, working tirelessly to give our student body the best possible time here at York.
Amy, Helen, Danny, Georgette and Hannah. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the time you have invested in Goodricke College across these years. You will always be Goodrickians! We wish you all the best in your future roles!
