Year 6 have made a fantastic start to the new school year, settling in beautifully and already demonstrating excellent collaboration during group tasks. They have also been showcasing their ensemble skills in music, working together to create music using glockenspiels. We are looking forward to welcoming them back next week for their first full week of learning!

Welcome back to the start of the new academic year, and we are sure it is going to be a good one!

We know that the start of a new year in a different class can feel a little strange so that is why we had a robust transition for the children in the summer and now we are offering parents the chance to 'meet the teacher' and find out the new routines and arrangements. As advertised in the last newsletter in July, this is tonight between 3.30-5pm for Years 1 to 6 .

EYFS will just have an open door so parents can see the new learning environment as they have already had their information meetings.

We look forward to seeing the All Saints family come together one more! 💜

Do You Remember the First Time?
Do you remember your first day at school? Or the first time you were sent to see the head? What about first time you stood on the starting line clutching an egg and spoon?
School is the place where we experience many ‘firsts’, and tonight the most memorable moments were re-lived through the songs and sketches of this hilarious, emotionally-charged musical, which delivered a bucket-load of laughs…and tears!

EYFS had a fantastic time at the Learning Together Trust Forest School experience today. The children used mallets to hammer tent pegs into the ground to help build their dens. They also made nature crowns, decorating them with flowers, leaves, and feathers they found while exploring outdoors. The Reception children tested how waterproof their dens were by pouring water over them—and were delighted to find that they stayed dry!

After a lovely Summer Celebration Service this morning at All Saints Church which finished with Year 6 celebrating all the wonderful and exciting opportunities enjoyed and memories made with our school family; Year 6 have go bowling this afternoon with our Learning Together Trust family.

We were delighted to welcome Rogan into school this afternoon for a story telling session with the whole of the Infants (EYFS & KS1).
The children loved how engaging and animated the stories were and loved being involved with the events, actions, words and phrases too!
