✨Little Chestnut Toddler Group ✨

Our little ones had lots of fun exploring and getting creative. We enjoyed investigating the sensory bags, digging in the sand, and getting creative at our arts and crafts table, where we explored different textures and added them to a variety of shapes.

There was plenty of fun and imagination at the play dough table too, before we finished our session with a lovely space-themed story. 🚀

Come and join the fun at one of our upcoming free Toddler Group sessions on 11th, 18th or 25th September. Places are limited. Call 01992 414109 or email [email protected] to book.

🎉 A result to celebrate!

We’re delighted to share that 89% of our Reception children achieved a Good Level of Development in our 2025–26 EYFS results.

A Good Level of Development, or GLD, is awarded when a child meets the Early Learning Goals across five key areas of the EYFS curriculum:

• Personal, Social and Emotional Development
• Physical Development
• Communication and Language
• Literacy
• Mathematics

This wonderful result celebrates how much our Reception children have grown throughout the year - not only in their learning, but also in their confidence, independence and enthusiasm.

We are incredibly proud of every child and would like to thank our dedicated Early Years team and supportive families for everything they have done to help them flourish. 👏

Activities such as den making encourage teamwork, communication and problem-solving, while our purpose-built outdoor shelter means learning can continue whatever the weather. 🍂☀️🌧

In Year 6, the focus shifts towards wellbeing, with children taking traditional lessons outdoors and enjoying Forest School in a way that complements their curriculum.
