✨ Celebration Time: Outstanding (I)GCSE Results at Haileybury! ✨

We are thrilled to announce another year of exceptional (I)GCSE achievements! Our pupils have shown incredible dedication, resilience, and academic focus, resulting in a fantastic set of exam scores:

• 59% of all grades awarded were 9–8 (A*)
• 80% at 9–7 (A*–A)
• 93% at 9–6 (A*–B)

Run in partnership with Green Frog Holidays, Hearts & Wings is a one-week residential summer holiday hosted on campus for 25 young people (aged 10 - 18) with disabilities.

Throughout the week, our guests will enjoy a brilliant line-up of fun activities, outings, and full access to Haileybury’s facilities - all while supported by our trained Haileybury pupil volunteers.

Hot on the heels of yesterday’s outstanding A Level results, we are delighted to share another monumental milestone for our school community! 🎉

Congratulations to our pupils on their amazing A Level results! 🎉

We are so pleased to see our leavers celebrate the results that they have worked tirelessly to achieve over the past two years.

A standout group achieved a clean sweep of top marks, while over a quarter of all pupils secured straight A*/A grades. When combined with our strong IB results, 59% of all grades at Haileybury were at A*-A and 87% at A*-B (or equivalent).

The Class of 2026 will go on to pursue higher education and career pathways at world-leading institutions in the UK, North America and Europe, alongside highly competitive degree apprenticeships with global engineering leaders.

Service and teamwork are fundamental to the Haileybury ethos and this is exemplified by our commitment to the Combined Cadet Force (CCF).

This co-curricular option focuses on the development of leadership and teamwork skills, as well as practical skills such as first aid, map-reading, survival skills and adventurous activities such as sub-aqua, sailing, climbing and flying.

Recently, Haileybury RAF cadets embarked on a summer camp alongside - during the trip, six pupils took to the sky for the first time, and 14 pupils also earned their blue wings! 🛩

Haileybury International Summer School 2026 was an incredible experience! 🏖️

From baking, crafting, Krav Maga, football and so much more ongoing for students to take part in, friendships were formed and new skills were uncovered.

Project focus classes allowed students to hone their skills across coding, design and technology and many more enjoyable learning opportunities, such as exciting trips into London to consolidate their knowledge.

Alasdair Wilde gave a presentation to pupils on the University of St Andrews last term. 🎒

Pupils learned about what makes St Andrews so unique, as well as informing about the wider Scottish university system.

Pupils were excited to learn about the different types of degrees on offer, extracurriculars, as well as accommodation on campus, asking thoughtful and insightful questions throughout to prepare for their higher education pathways.

Last term, Kyle Higgins from Imperial College London gave a lecture to our pupils on the uses of AI in medicine, as well as his career journey. 🩺

It was a wonderful opportunity for our pupils to hear about the massive progress and innovation being made in the field of cancer research.

The talk was a wonderful way to sign off this year’s STEM Twilight lecture programme!
