It's nearly time! . We're getting ready to welcome all the children back. We can't wait to see you all! 😄😄😄

Gates open 8.30am on Wednesday. Class doors open 8.35 and learning starts straight away!

Have a look at the picture to remind you what children need to bring. We will provide almost everything they need, but do ask if you have any issues getting the other stuff.

We are still ✨smartphone free✨, so please don't send phones to school. There are a few other things they don't need - look at the ❌.

Oh, and one last thing they will need... a good night's sleep so they are ready for all the exciting adventures coming up! 🤩

It's been a great year. Let's finish it by asking the question that's been in the media over the last two weeks: What DO schools do in the last week of term??
🙏Well, I wish I had photos of the Leavers Worship yesterday: a beautiful reflective farewell to our Class of 2026. I wish even more I had photos of this morning's surprise Flashmob in Worship - dancing to Madness! And choir singing an emotional thank you to Mrs Lewis.
🐊But I do have some photos of our very busy last week - from our Wellbeing Carousel to our fantastic production of "Crocodile Rock".

It's computing week at HSA!

💻🤖 Our pupils have been busy developing their digital skills!

Some of our youngest pupils have been learning how to program mini robots, building their problem-solving and computational thinking skills through fun, hands-on activities.

Meanwhile, our Year 5 pupils have been collecting data in class and using Google Sheets to input, organise, and analyse their findings.

It's fantastic to see our pupils growing in confidence with technology while learning skills that will support them in the future. Well done, everyone! 🌟

🎉🥳Thank you to everyone who joined us for our annual Carnival day!
😎It was an incredible celebration of singing, dancing, sharing food and bringing some HSA joy to our streets.
😍Can you see the colours of all the nations we represent? Our staff and children wore colours and clothes from UK, DRC, Germany, India, Turkey, Ireland, Uganda, Albania, Egypt, Hungary, South Africa and many more places from all around the world where we have family and friends.

With teamwork, good health safety, environmental changes and some fun along the way! Well done to all our children and staff for their amazing ability to make us proud despite the extreme heat - and to you, parents, for getting them to and from school in the sun.

Year 4 have been learning about electricity in Science. Working collaboratively in groups, they designed and built simple circuits before testing a variety of materials to discover which allowed electricity to flow and which did not.
This practical learning encouraged curiosity, teamwork and problem-solving skills, while helping children develop their understanding of scientific enquiry. The pupils made predictions, carried out fair tests and discussed their findings with their peers.
