When it comes to building fills, I have always struggled with what to play & what type of fill to play.
Over the past week, Ive broken the theory down, had a fill focused lesson & listened to podcast discussing them.
On the page the rudiments are all on snare but as it progresses I can move them on different drums🥁

After a little break over the New Years, I’ve come back to state my resolutions (or more like goals for the year)✨
1. Pass my grade 6 exam
2. Be more consistent on this page
3. Create art, not just rubbish content
4. Reflect a lot more of how far I’ve come
5. Be more confident that what I’m aiming for it coming together

Happy new year!🤍

A quick recap of 2021, passing my trinity grade 5 exam, buying new cymbals, rearranging my parents’ living room to fit more drums I bought and growing this platform!

It’s not where I thought I would be but I’m grateful & proud of where I am!

I can’t wait for 2022 (hopefully completing a masters & passing more grades), let’s keep playing!🥁✨

My bass drum foot doesn’t want to seem to work with me currently🥁
