This week at Preschool we have been looking at ‘Holidays’. We have had our teddys suitcase out with lots of souvenirs from all over the world to explore, we have been looking at pictures of what we might take on holiday and packing our suitcases, we have been painting using ice cream cones, we have had sand and numbered beach huts to explore, and we have been copying pictures to create our ice creams. We also had great fun at the inflatables day at the main school. The children loved having a special treat. Another fantastic week of learning!

We have had another busy week in Nursery where we have been taking part in different transition activities across the week. The children have enjoyed spending time in their new classroom, as well on reflecting on the last year; the children have talked about things they have enjoyed in Nursery and what they are looking forward to in the year ahead. We had lots of fun on the bouncy castle and inflatable too!

Today is our second move up morning as part of our transition programme to support the children and make the transition to their new classes as successfully as it possibly can be. Children in Rec to Year 5 will move up to their new classes and spend time with their new class teachers and teaching assistants. Next week, we will be doing 1:1 transition sessions with children that may benefit from this additional support.
