We are so proud of our Year 6 pupils! 🌟

This year, 79% of our children achieved the expected standard in Reading at KS2, exceeding the national average of 75%.

This is a wonderful achievement and reflects the hard work, curiosity and resilience of our pupils, alongside the dedication of our staff and the support of our families. Together, we've nurtured a love of reading that helps children grow in confidence, imagination and understanding of the world around them.

Congratulations to every one of our Year 6 pupils – you've worked incredibly hard and should be so proud of what you've achieved. We can't wait to see all that you'll accomplish next.

Before thoughts turn to September, take a moment to look at just how much your child has grown.

Perhaps they've become a little more confident. Maybe they've made a new friend, discovered a passion for reading, learned to persevere when something felt difficult, or simply become more independent.

These milestones may not neccesarily appear in a report, but they matter just as much.

Over the summer, why not ask them:

💬 What's something you can do now that you couldn't do a year ago?
💬 What made you smile the most?
💬 If you could relive one day from this school year, which would it be?

Sometimes, taking time to reflect is the best way to appreciate just how far we've come.

Above National Average writing score!

We're incredibly proud of our pupils!

Our 2026 KS2 outcomes reflect a year of hard work, determination and achievement and were notably above national figures in key areas, so there is much to celebrate!

🍦💦 Our Year 6 children have been making the most of their final few days with us! As part of their final DT project, they had great fun making their own ice cream, before cooling off with some exciting water activities in the sunshine. ☀️ What a wonderful way to celebrate the end of their primary school journey and create some lasting memories together! 🌟
