We would just like to say a massive thank you to everybody who helped raise money for children in need!! 😊👏🏽

The children have been very interested in occupations and our emergency services. We are incorporating this into our planning over the next couple of weeks, discussing the importance of our emergency services. We would just like to ask if anybody has any uniform or equipment we would be extremely grateful if you could email photos of you wearing them or photos of them. We are also asking if any of our parents who are part of the emergency services would be able to come into nursery to have a chat with our children. If anyone is able to help please email in so we can arrange a day/ time. Thank you! The Avenue Team😊

Just a little reminder that due to the current Covid restrictions our sports day and summer fair is cancelled. However as the children have all worked so hard practising we will be doing daily sports days all this week which will be recorded and uploaded to tapestry.

Could we please ask that you continue to send your child in with a named sunhat and named bottle with only water as the weather is getting warmer again.

Today at Forest School we had a very special visit from a Fox cub!🦊 The children were all so quiet and cautious not to scare him and they all fed him left overs from our lunch. As you can see from the photos the fox got very close and the children were so lucky to be able to experience this! We have set up some cameras and hope to capture some more photos to share with the children at nursery too!

Dear Parents/Carers,

In preparation for our summer fair (after sports day) we are asking for any donations for our bric-a-brac stall as well as any unwanted gifts or prizes we can use for our tombola prizes. Any donations are welcome just drop them off when dropping off or collecting your child from nursery.

Our story this month is Jack and the Bean Stalk🌱The children have already created an amazing bean stalk this week! 🌱

As some of you may have already seen on tapestry Olivia has some new animals and insects which will be coming to visit nursery soon. She needs a bit of help to choose their names and would love if the children could help! If your child has any names they would like us to use please comment below and we will be adding them to a hat to be pulled out at random. There will be 3 praying mantises and 3 tarantulas so we need lots of suggestions! 🕷

We will be picking out names Friday so make sure to get all your suggestions in before then! Thank you😊

Our story of the month this month is ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ the children have all helped to create their own giant caterpillar and butterfly and they look amazing! 🐛🦋

We would just like to say a massive thank you to Megan, Ralph and Albert for bringing Dale the chicken and Evie their dog into nursery today. Megan told all the children about Dale and Evie with the help from Ralph. The children were all so excited and we had a lovely morning, thank you so much Megan!! 🐶🐓
