Reflecting on the most brilliant day at The Reading Doctor Festival 2025 on the train home 📚🩺🥳🥂🚂

A day packed with passion, inspiration and a whole lot of laughter!

Truly thankful to have taken that first step back in 2021 and now be part of such a wonderful network of like-minded educators, business people, friends.

Thank you Deborah Salsbury for bringing your vision to life and for thinking of absolutely everything to make the festival the huge success it was ⭐🦓

Thanks to Mr Mc - Early Years / Key Stage 1 - , my fellow Irishman! ☘️ for delivering the most inspiring talk/dance/songs!

And to 🧚🏼‍♀️ for helping us capture the day... Can't wait to watch it all back!

We also enjoyed workshops from Adam 🥁 The Tutors Association, The British Franchise Association and Tutors Who Thrive.

..Sad it's over, but happy it happened 🥰

Many of you will know that this has been my last week teaching in The Reading Room here in Moira 😥 ... and what a week we've had! ☀️

I have been overwhelmed by the amazing support and messages of thanks I have received this week, not to mention the beautiful gifts 💐

Teaching your children over the past 16 months has been such a privilege. I am extremely lucky to call this my job and I leave Moira knowing that many children have benefited, and will continue to benefit from The Reading Doctor intervention through online sessions... I cannot wait to see all your little faces again on screen very soon! 😊💻

Now, I'm off to pack up the house, ready for our move back to Kent next week 🏡
