CONGRATULATIONS TOM MOORE! 🎉
Our Farm Manager at Walford College has made it through to the finals of the National Arable & Grassland Awards as Grassland Manager of the Year. 🌱
In consideration for this award, the panel of judges will evaluate candidates based on their exemplary performance in meeting key performance indicators, such as yield per hectare and its impact on the final product (e.g. litres of milk per hectare). The successful recipient will exhibit a dedication to maintaining soil health and will be capable of showcasing a strategic selection of grassland varieties. Additionally, the efficient and minimal use of fertilisers will be a contributing factor in the selection process. 🚜
Well done Tom, this is a fantastic achievement and we wish you luck in the final stage of the competition. Enjoy the Awards Ceremony, we will be rooting for you. 🤞

Yesterday, we celebrated our students' amazing achievements at our 2024 Graduation Ceremony within the grounds of the stunning Hereford Cathedral. 🎓It was a day filled with pride as we reflected on all of the hard work that our students have dedicated to their awards. 📜Congratulations to all of you and we hope it was a day to remember. 🎉We would like to wish you all the best of luck on your next adventures.
