A proper top drawer drive this afternoon by Magnus Windle, just the one minor on his first crack at the test and some super feedback from his examiner.

Magnus has quite a commute into Hereford, and also to his girlfriend’s, so as the examiner said today “well, it’s time to look for that first car, sir!”.

Many congratulations Magnus, you certainly deserved this success today and all the best searching for that first car (possibly a Corsa if you’re in luck?). Been a pleasure working with you, I did worry that I’d left things a bit late, being on my hols and all, but our intensive 3 hour sessions paid off I think! 👍

A result today that couldn’t be bettered, a fabulous drive by Jack Morris who’s only nabbed himself a first time pass with a clean sheet, zero faults.

Many congratulations and take a bow Jack, this was thoroughly well deserved and when I said today you should aim for a zero I wasn’t joking!

It’s been a pleasure working with you these last few months and all the best with your driving, I know you’re going to get plenty experience from the off, to and from college.

So here’s to many years of happy and safe driving, and perhaps we’ll meet again soon for a nice drive up the M5 and back 👍

A super drive this morning by Daisy Lewis, a quality first time pass with only the 2 minors.

And the sibling pressure was on…Daisy has three elder sisters who all got through on their first attempt, so very well done Daisy on keeping up those high family standards.

Great news as she goes back to college, Daisy has a pretty long daily commute so now she’s going under her own steam and just needs to find somewhere to park!

Many congratulations Daisy, it’s been lovely working with you and enjoy your new independence 👍

A result this morning to be really proud of for Luke Chatburn, in the words of his examiner “an excellent” first time pass and with only the one minor, a virtually flawless drive.

So many congratulations and very well done Luke, you’ve been a keen and receptive pupil throughout, and success today was fully deserved. And, you’ve certainly lived up to the high standards set by Josh!

I hope you can get plenty of regular driving in, enjoy your new independence and here’s to many years of happy and safe driving!

An impressive first time pass this morning for Kate Watkins, with nice complements on her safe and assured driving.

Super news for Kate, who this month is beginning her studies at the College of Arts. It’s a fair commute to college and back, so sure she is relieved she now doesn’t have to rely on the patchy bus timetables!

Many congratulations on great job well done Kate, so pleased for you and you certainly deserved it. Enjoy life as an art student and here’s to many years of happy and safe driving 👍

A lovely drive this morning by Anna Price, passed at the first time of asking with only 3 minors.

Anna had some very high standards to maintain, brothers Joseph and Dan having posted excellent results, and she certainly followed in their footsteps!

Great news of course, she has a fair old commute into school so will be clocking up the miles soon and getting ever more valuable experience.

Many congratulations Anna, it was lovely to see that huge smile today and here’s to many years of happy and safe driving!

A fully deserved first class pass today for Grace, on her first attempt with only three minors, the examiner called it as a mature and competent drive, said he felt very safe, which exactly what to aim for!

Brilliant news for Grace, who can now drive herself to work, but as she’s regularly on the stage also to her many dance and singing rehearsals. She recently starred in “We Will Rock You”, singing several Queen classics including….”Killer Queen”.

Well, you’re certainly the Killer Queen today Grace!
Many congratulations on this achievement, hope you’re proud and wish you equal success with Drama School. 👍

A super result this morning for Connie, passed on her first attempt with just the one minor.

It’s really important that she’s got her licence now, as in a fortnight Connie starts her PGCE at Worcester University, training to be a Chemistry teacher to GCSE level. So she’ll be clocking up weekly mileage to Worcester, but also to a placement in a Hereford High School.

Many congratulations Connie, the pressure was on but you delivered an excellent drive. It has been lovely working with you, I wish you every success in your new career and the very best of luck finding your first car 👍

So pleased for this lovely guy this afternoon, an excellent test pass by Ramadan Nurudeen with only the one minor on his first attempt.

Our lessons were a bit stop-start at times, but we got super intensive over a few days lately and everything just clicked into place, as his result testifies. Ramadan felt a 35 minute test was a bit of a doddle, after I’d had him behind the wheel for three hours at a stretch!

So now Ramadan is on the hunt for his first car, and fingers crossed a nice little Toyota Aygo is on offer somewhere near by….

Many congratulations to you Ramadan, this was thoroughly deserved today and I shall miss our lessons together. All the best, and hope to see you on the road soon 👍

Less than two weeks to go now, before “FranFest26” kicks off at Sunday lunchtime on the Bank Holiday weekend, and fingers crossed they get blessed with nice (but not too sizzling!,) weather.

The event has raised many thousands of pounds, for a great cause that was dear to Fran, and it’s really a great day out for folk of all ages. Face painting, a footie match, the famous bouncy castle (I so enjoyed that, last year), and that company from Leominster who make gin and vodka from Herefordshire potatoes?

Last year, I especially enjoyed the huge portions of cheesy chips on offer, a pint of best, and a really good quality footie match between Westfields and Fran’s team.

I don’t think I ate anything else for at least 36 hours….😂
