But their popularity and high demand mean lots of fakes are now available to buy. And the counterfeit versions may contain harmful levels of dangerous chemicals.
✓ Buy from trusted retailers if you can – fakes may not meet our safety standards
✓ Check for proper labelling – missing safety information is a sign it’s fake
✓ If the toy is damaged, leaking or smells unusual, stop using it
✓ Avoid buying for under 3s - they’re most at risk from dangerous toys.

New Stay and Play sessions coming to Herefordshire libraries
Families with young children are invited to enjoy brand-new free Stay and Play sessions launching from 27 April at Hereford, Leominster, Ross-on-Wye and Ledbury libraries
Designed for children aged 0–5, these friendly drop-in sessions offer a relaxed space to explore toys, games, crafts and stories—supporting early learning through play while giving families a chance to connect
It’s a great way to meet others, have fun and make the most of your local library

Have you tried the SEN sessions over at Little Olive's in Malvern yet?
SEN sessions run every Thursday from 1.30pm - 3pm. Your little ones will have access to the whole café and play areas including the soft play, role play and sensory room as well as lots of small world toys.
During SEN sessions, attendee numbers are reduced and there is no end of session bell or music. A virtual tour is available on their website.
