So proud of these children today who competed in a cricket tournament. We took two teams a year 3/4 mixed and a KS2 girls and we managed to reach both finals! 🏏

Today in Year 4, we had a Sicilian Day to kick off our new English topic all about Sicily. We learned about the culture and took part in a range of themed activities, including baking and art.
We had such a fun day and can’t wait to learn more about beautiful Sicily! 🌊☀️🏝️🌋

And that’s a wrap for the Year 6 residential!

Three days of having fun, showing determination, building resilience, stepping out of comfort zones, challenging themselves, making memories, being active, sleeping (a bit), singing, dancing, laughing with friends and even making new friends.

Plenty more photos to follow, and I’m sure they’ll have plenty of their own stories to share, but for now here’s the class on their final day.

Day 2 on the Year 6 residential is almost at an end, and it has been a busy one from start to finish!

It’s been such an active day: abseiling, axe throwing, problem solving, laser maze, stepping stones, quiz night, pool, making new friends and creating some wonderful memories.

Final day tomorrow, then back for a much needed rest.

Year 6 have arrived!

A great time at the A.I.M High writing day at Marlbrook for these talented writers from Year 2 and 3.

They spent the day with children’s author Naomi Joslyn, learning all about the art of story writing and how to develop interesting and engaging characters.

This year, they’ve all worked so hard to improve their writing, and it was great to see them get tips and advice from a published author.

Very proud of the way they conducted themselves throughout the day, and there’s something very special about seeing children with so much passion and enthusiasm for writing.

Great ambassadors for the school, and a joy to take.
