There are some children who leave a mark on a school forever.

Today, our Year 6 children close the door on their time at Lord Scudamore Primary Academy, and our hearts are full.

We've watched them arrive with little voices, big dreams and endless curiosity. We've been there for the wobbles, the laughter, the friendships, the achievements and the moments that have shaped them into the remarkable young people they are today.

The greatest privilege of being a teacher is not just helping children learn - it's watching them grow.

Year 1️⃣

On Monday afternoon, Year 1 enjoyed a fantastic trip to the Waterworks Museum. The children had a wonderful time exploring, learning and taking part in all the activities. To round off a brilliant afternoon, we surprised them with a fun water spray, to help cool down in the warm weather. There were lots of smiles, laughter and plenty of happy faces! 🧭

HMFA Athletics 🏅

On Friday 3rd July we hosted our annual HMFA Athletics event at the Leisure Centre for Years 3, 4, 5 and 6. Competing in various track events, the children showed grit, determination and incredible teamwork. This event is a favourite in our calendar: we love hosting it, we love watching all the children shine and we also love the incredible support from families. A massive well done to all! We can’t wait to do it all again next year! 👟
