Hope the summer is going well - a little reading suggestion for the summer…

Would your child like to have their own copy of our class text ready for September?

We will be reading The White Giraffe by Lauren St John (ISBN 978-1-842-55563-7). We have copies in school to share, so there is absolutely no need to buy one, but we know some children enjoy having their own copy to keep, read ahead with and return to whenever they like.

It’s a brilliant story and a lovely way to keep the reading habit going over the summer. ☀️📖

Copies are available from all good bookshops and online booksellers.

The children have had such a brilliant time at our Summer Holiday Club! ☀️🌈

They’ve enjoyed a fantastic variety of activities, including baking their own delicious cookies 🍪, cooling off with fun swimming sessions 🏊, exploring and playing with our OPAL equipment 🛝⚽, getting creative with lots of arts and crafts 🎨✂️, making new friends 🤝, taking part in outdoor games 🌳, enjoying team challenges 🧩, and creating memories filled with smiles and laughter 😄💛.

It’s been wonderful to see the children having so much fun, building confidence, and making the most of their summer holidays! 🌟☀️

2L had lots of fun on their last day of school, getting creative and making fluffy cloud crafts! A lovely way to finish off a fantastic term.
