🎉 𝗚𝗖𝗦𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗦 // It was celebrations all round on Old Deanery lawn this morning, as our Year 11 pupils opened their GCSE results.

🎉 Congratulations to our Year 11 pupils who have achieved a fantastic set of results once again! 🎉

Headmaster Dr Gray says: “This year’s GCSE results are another outstanding set of outcomes, demonstrating the consistency in excellence which characterises an HCS education. With 100% pass rate in Maths, English and countless other subjects, there is so much to celebrate across the board.

These results highlight the tremendous work of our students and the commitment of their teachers. After last year’s record-breaking results, it was wonderful to see the current Y11s performing equally well with a third of all grades achieving grades 9-8 and more than three-quarters of all grades being awarded 9-6.

We look forward to welcoming the students back to Sixth Form in a couple of weeks to enable them to fulfil their potential and achieve their aspirations for the next stage of their journey.”

Today we’re celebrating the incredible achievements of our A-Level students! 🌟

We are so proud of the hard work, determination and resilience our Year 13s have shown throughout their time at HCS. It was wonderful to see the smiles, excitement and sense of achievement as our students received their results and celebrated together with friends, family and staff.

Congratulations to our Class of 2026 on another year of excellent A-Level and BTEC results!

Headmaster Dr Gray says: “We were delighted with another impressive set of A-Level and BTEC results this morning which is testament to the hard work of our young people. It’s also fantastic to see how these have translated into excellent university outcomes with students taking up places for courses ranging from medicine to law, from agriculture to architecture.

"Qualifications provide an important passport for the next phase of education and employment, and alongside these great outcomes, our students have achieved sporting, musical and cultural excellence, leadership experience, and preparation for life beyond school so that they can thrive in a rapidly changing world. We know that the leavers of 2026 will have an exciting and successful future ahead and we wish them every happiness."
