βοΈβοΈSUN SAFETY REMINDERS!βοΈβοΈ
Please suncream your children before they arrive at nursery. We will reapply for the afternoon using our own suncream for those children who are staying all day.
SUN HATS - A wide brimmed bucket hat is ideal as these cover children's ears and backs of necks which are most vulnerable in the sunshine. Remember to put your child's name in it.
SUITABLE CLOTHING - Please remember to cover your child's shoulders (no strappy tops or vests) and send children with shoes that have a closed toe for health and safety reasons.
DONATIONS - If anyone has any wide brimmed bucket hats (no sun caps please) they no longer need, we would really appreciate any donations. Once we have enough, we will be able to provide your children with a hat whilst at nursery.
It's half term next week!! We will see our term time children return on Monday 1st June. For those who are 'all year around' we will see you on TUESDAY as we are closed on Monday for bank holiday.
Have a lovely weekend, remember to stay safe and hydrated!πβοΈ

Oh how lovely it is to have some more sunshine! βοΈβοΈβοΈ We have spent SO much time outdoors, soaking up the sun and enjoying the fresh air.
The children have joined in a variety of activities and learning opportunities. To name a few;
π Bug hunting in the garden with the magnifying glasses
βοΈ Physical activity, riding bikes, obstacle courses and group games
πΈ Planting flowers and beans
βοΈ Mark making, drawing on whiteboards and painting with water
β οΈ REMEMBERβ οΈ
As the sun is shining and looking like it's here to stay, can you apply suncream to your children BEFORE they arrive at nursery. We will reapply using nursery suncream for those who are here all day.
We ask that you send in a named sun hat (a bucket hat if possible to protect ears), keep shoulders covered (no strappy tops) and closed shoes.
As you all know, we make the most of our lovely garden and are out for the majority of the day so it's important we are staying sun safe βοΈ
Have a lovely weekend π»π€οΈ we look forward to seeing you next week.

Here's a peek at some of the fun we've had over the build up to Easter!
ππ£ πΈ
Feel free to upload some photographs to Tapestry of your plans over the Easter break. It will be nice for the children to be able to participate in some 'show and tell' when we return ππ€
Don't forget, tomorrow is our last day, we are closed on Friday for bank holiday. Next week we are closed and we return on Monday 13th April.

We have been super busy these last couple of weeks! We've had a visit from a real bin lorry (thank you to Emily B's husband for organising!) which fits in perfectly with the children's current interest of 'transport'. ππ΅ππ³οΈ
The sun has made an appearance which has been lovely. The children have spent a lot of time in the garden, the sand pit and the water tray have been especially popular.ππΈ As we move into Spring, we will start talking about the changes in the environment that the new season brings. The children will be able to plant some seeds and bulbs in the garden, and our older children will be given extra responsibility to help care for them, ensuring they are watered and well looked after. πππ¦ππ»πͺ»πΌ
Have a lovely weekend and we look forward to seeing you all next week.
