What an exciting day we had on Friday - at our Shakespeare Day! All of Key Stage 2 brought to life Macbeth, using the actual words of Shakespeare. We created actions to match the words we were saying, and brought the play together with a final performance. Well done to all the children - they were fantastic.

A big thank you to Louis mum for introducing nursery children to Vietnamese culture. We learnt to say hello and goodbye, tasted some dragon fruit and learnt about traditions and traditional clothes.

Year 4 as part of their history topic visited the cathedral. We got to see the oldest object in the cathedral the Hereford Gospels. We were amazed by the detail on the Mappa Mundi and enjoyed trying to find all the animals. Year 4 even took a trip up a special secret tower when learning more about people visitng the cathedral as a place of pilgrimage.

What a wonderful day at the Hay Festival Year 5 have had. We listened to a talk by Alasdair Beckett-King, and then got to meet him! Later we explored the shops, tried on some historical artefacts and spent the rest of our pocket money! 📚 😀 Tiring stuff! 💤
