Over the 2020 lockdown I was able to put more time into sewing and as a result I began to tentatively share, through local artisan markets, sewn items that I had made.
3 years further down the line and this idea has progressed and I have decided that the time has come to make sewing more than just a hobby of mine! As a result, I have become a part time teacher and am now working hard to establish

I rarely get to share the work of Stitching Club, however, bringing these home to iron I couldn't resist snapping and sharing them as well as the tiny teddies I'm keeping safe until next week. It is a joy to sew with these 7&8 year olds each week watching their skills progress and confidence blossom; well done Stitching Club! 🪡🤩🪡

When your poor swimming bag has so many holes you finally have to admit defeat and declare it unsalvageable after so many repairs 🙈 It's been a good few years little hedgehogs let's hope your floral cousin holds up just as well! 🪡👜🪡

What a wholesome day it has been: I had the most wonderful morning at Ledbury Library - thank you for having me! Afterwards, I took a windy but beautiful walk up to British Camp. Sewing and nature are the perfect recipe for happiness in my book! 🪡😊🪡

Well I think we can call that a productive few days! 131 mini kits made including two new additions tested by after-school club on National Cake Day and debuting this week at the library and Countrytastic. I'm not sure Mr Pocket Monster is too impressed about being boxed up though! 🪡👀🪡

When Stitch Club do Easter... I'm so proud of this group, having never touched a needle before 9 weeks later they have mastered the needle threaders, are creating their own designs and sewing both a running and whip stitch with confidence independently! 🪡🐣🪡
