- today's the day! Access a hiring payment of up to £2,000 for every new, young apprentice you take on.

This is for employees aged 16-24 who’ve joined your business in the last three months and are starting an apprenticeship from today (1 Oct 2026).

The payment, which helps to cover the costs of taking on an eligible apprentice, is on top of existing support including no employer National Insurance contributions and fully funded training for apprentices aged under 25.

Great session yesterday with our Scope learners on the Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Specialist Programme incorporating the ILM Certificate in Developing Leadership and Team Skills.

The focus was effective communication - how leaders can adapt their style and channels to meet the diverse needs of individuals and teams.

We also debated a big question: is AI helping leaders grow, or putting the human connection at the heart of good leadership at risk?
