We had so much fun visiting the Small Breeds Farm Park and Owl Centre in Kington today!
With the new school term just around the corner, we wanted to make the absolute most of these last few days of freedom 😀
The children loved getting up close with the friendly animals, and feeding the cheeky sheep and goats!
We topped off our adventure with a lovely stop at the café and soaked up the beautiful weather. Such a perfect day out full of fresh air and big smiles! 💖

Today, we went on a wonderful trip to another National Trust spot - Berrington Hall. Those little legs walked such a long distance—I am so, so proud of them!
We had so much fun exploring:
The mini theatre and stage, packed with dress-up costumes and all sorts of funny wigs. We all had so much laugh and fun!
The natural playground, perfect for running around, exploring, and burning off some energy.
A lovely walk around the gardens, we spent time spotting and smelling different flowers and plants, followed by a well-deserved snack break 🍎.
It was a fantastic day, but also a very emotional one for our setting. Today was the last day for a wonderful boy who has been with me for the past two years.
He has made such incredible progress over this time. He is such a joyful, smiley, and talkative boy. When it comes to cars and vehicles of any kind, he knows absolutely everything—I’m pretty sure he’ll be my car mechanic one day! 🚗🔧
Days like today are full of mixed feelings. On one hand, it was an amazing day out, but on the other hand, it’s bittersweet knowing we were doing everything together for the very last time.
Thank you for two wonderful years! We wish you so much happiness and luck for the future. You will be so missed! ❤️

What a fantastic trip to National Trust spot - Brockhampton! The medieval chapel ruins were transformed into a potion kitchen and medieval shop, which kept the children thoroughly entertained.
They loved every second of the trip, especially trying on costumes and climbing stairs in the old manor house! After a lovely walk around the gardens, a look at the old house, and enthusiastic waving at every single staff member, we headed home.
Lunch and a well-deserved nap were definitely required after all that medieval excitement!

Today we spent our morning at the playground, which happens to be surrounded by magnificent blackberry bushes. The children had so much fun picking their own fresh, juicy blackberries!
There’s definitely something extra special about food when you’ve gathered it yourself—it always tastes so much better straight from the bush! 🧺🍇
We’re keeping the blackberry magic going with some messy play with natural paint and blackberry splatters 😊

Finally, the sun is out and we are loving our outdoor adventures! After a soggy winter, we’re conquering the grass and the sandpit is back in action.
We’ve been busy at Moreton on Lugg and Sutton St Nicholas playgrounds – Uhu playgrounds rule! From climbing and pushing Paulina on the carousel to picking tiny flowers or spotting ladybirds, every activity is a lesson! Whether it’s balancing or fine-tuning those little finger muscles, we’re constantly supporting gross and fine motor skills. It’s not just play; it’s learning in motion! 🏖️🐞🌱

Today, we gathered the sunflower harvest, and it was such a great exercise for the children as we removed the seeds from the sunflowers. 😊
The sunflowers seeds are probably scattered all over the garden ready to bloom next year :)
The fun we had was wonderful! 🌼🌼

While some are predicting autumn with September around the corner, our children are busy gathering a bountiful harvest! 🍓🍇
After finding strawberries (great teamwork with picking and passing to everybody!), they eagerly searched for more delicious treats, wandering through the blueberry bushes (green - not ready, purple - just right!) and later discovering tomatoes. We've had our own carrots for snack today!
Some little ones even dared to try a bit of lettuce! 🌱
It's incredible to see how we planted seeds in spring, watered through the summer and now we’re enjoying the fruits!

Happy Holidays everyone! To all parents and children - lots of fun, careless time and memorable moments!
We've started holidays with a festival theme at Stoke Prior's Little Owls playgroup, lots of fun, happy faces and bags with dirty clothes! 😅

Today, we had so much fun playing with paint, chalk, and crayons.
We took care of our baby dolls in a fluffy bubble water play!
The children had lots of fun in sandpit (scented with cinnamon, it was like playibg in a huge apple pie!). Some even remembered the play order: first into the water and then into the sand for the perfect stickiness! 😂

There was so much joy, plenty of dirty little hands, and lots of clothes packed up for laundry.
It was a super day!
