Curious Creatures Childminding

Finally, the sun is out and we are loving our outdoor adventures! After a soggy winter, we’re conquering the grass and the sandpit is back in action.
​We’ve been busy at Moreton on Lugg and Sutton St Nicholas playgrounds – Uhu playgrounds rule! From climbing and pushing Paulina on the carousel to picking tiny flowers or spotting ladybirds, every activity is a lesson! Whether it’s balancing or fine-tuning those little finger muscles, we’re constantly supporting gross and fine motor skills. It’s not just play; it’s learning in motion! 🏖️🐞🌱

Happy Mother’s Day! ❤️ Wishing all the mums a day of actual rest (for once!). Hope you’re all having a brilliant day being pampered and celebrated. Cheers to us! 🌸☕

Today, we gathered the sunflower harvest, and it was such a great exercise for the children as we removed the seeds from the sunflowers. 😊
The sunflowers seeds are probably scattered all over the garden ready to bloom next year :)
The fun we had was wonderful! 🌼🌼

While some are predicting autumn with September around the corner, our children are busy gathering a bountiful harvest! 🍓🍇
After finding strawberries (great teamwork with picking and passing to everybody!), they eagerly searched for more delicious treats, wandering through the blueberry bushes (green - not ready, purple - just right!) and later discovering tomatoes. We've had our own carrots for snack today!
Some little ones even dared to try a bit of lettuce! 🌱
It's incredible to see how we planted seeds in spring, watered through the summer and now we’re enjoying the fruits!

Happy Holidays everyone! To all parents and children - lots of fun, careless time and memorable moments!
We've started holidays with a festival theme at Stoke Prior's Little Owls playgroup, lots of fun, happy faces and bags with dirty clothes! 😅

Today, we had so much fun playing with paint, chalk, and crayons.
We took care of our baby dolls in a fluffy bubble water play!
The children had lots of fun in sandpit (scented with cinnamon, it was like playibg in a huge apple pie!). Some even remembered the play order: first into the water and then into the sand for the perfect stickiness! 😂

There was so much joy, plenty of dirty little hands, and lots of clothes packed up for laundry.
It was a super day!

💦 Splashing into summer fun! 🌞 I absolutely love my job. On hot days like today, we cool off with water games and have a blast! The children had so much fun playing with the little fountain, and they got to water the garden too! They were pouring water from cup to cup, on themselves and everywhere :)
It’s all about learning through play and enjoying every moment together! 🌈💖

This week, we had a fantastic time!
On Tuesday, we met the police and had the opportunity to see a police car, which was very exciting.
We also created our own books in celebration of World Book Day. On Friday, we had a great time at the Little Owls Playgroup making Gruffalo hats and playing outdoor!
It was a wonderful week filled with fun and learning!
