Marden Primary Academy is a school family where everyone works together to ensure everyone achieves their full potential. In addition to this we have a fantastic Breakfast Club & After School Club that caters for all children, including Nursery and Reception aged children.

🌟 Happy National Teaching Assistants’ Day! 🌟

Today we took the opportunity to say a huge THANK YOU to our amazing Teaching Assistants for everything they do for our pupils and our school.

Our TAs make such a difference every single day - supporting learning, nurturing relationships, encouraging our children and being there when they need a little extra help, care or reassurance.

We wanted to make sure they had a little time out to relax and enjoy a well-deserved treat, so we treated them to delicious scones with clotted cream and jam! 🫖🍓🍰

🎉 We are incredibly proud to announce that Marden Primary Academy has achieved the ARC Bronze Award! 🏆

This is a wonderful recognition of our commitment to becoming an increasingly attachment-aware school, putting positive relationships, emotional wellbeing and a strong sense of belonging at the heart of our practice.

The Attachment Research Community (ARC) supports schools to understand how attachment, relationships and experiences of adversity can influence children and young people’s emotional wellbeing, behaviour and ability to learn.

Achieving the Bronze Award recognises the work we are doing to develop an environment where children feel safe, understood, valued and connected, and where strong, trusting relationships support both learning and wellbeing.

This achievement reflects the dedication of our staff and the positive relationships we build every day with our pupils and families.

Do you have a child born between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023? If so you will need to apply for a school place by 15 January 2027 (to commence September 2027).
