🥋 All students who are due to grade on Saturday 22nd August will now test at the earlier time of 12:30. There will be no later grading.

All grades at 12:30 regardless of belt colour attempting.

🥋🥋 A huge thank you to everyone who joined us on our first competition training camp of summer 2026! We had a fantastic day working on kata drills, kumite drills, reaction training and off the line practice 🥋🥋

It was a pleasure to welcome students from Northampton and Spilsby, Lincolnshire to train with us for the day. We always love welcoming students from other clubs to train and learn together 💪

🥋 Our next session is on Tuesday 25th August. We have a few spaces left so book now to avoid disappointment 🥋

⚽️⚽️ Congratulations to Isaac who was the winner of our 2026 football World Cup sweepstake ⚽️⚽️

Isaac was successful in getting Spain as the winning team for our sweepstake which earned him a cool £50.00 🥳🎉 nicely done!!

🇯🇵 Thank you to everyone who took part in the sweepstake. It earned £190.00 which will be put in the Rising Sun funds. Helping our students reach Japan in 2027 for an amazing training opportunity 🇯🇵

A huge thank you to everyone who has and is taking part in our smartie challenge fundraiser. It’s been great hearing about all of the different ways students have been earning their ££’s to fill their tubes. The deadline for completing this challenge was Friday 31st July (tomorrow) but with so many challengers away on their summer holiday’s we have decided to push the deadline back to give everyone the opportunity to hand their tubes back in. The new deadline will now be:

Thursday 27th August. After this date we will announce the winner of a months free training and a free dojo T-Shirt.

If you have already filled your tubes and are training between now and the deadline date please do hand your tubes in so we can add you to the list. Many thanks everyone 🍫

The first of our 2 competition training camps start next Tuesday. We have a few spaces available should you wish to take part. These camps are open to any dojo who wishes to participate and you do not have to compete to take part.

🏆🏆 Ethan Swinton - DOUBLE world champion!!! Ethan has successfully taken the title in both kata and kumite 👊 we are so proud of you Ethan. You doubt yourself so much and I hope you can now see what we see in you 💪

🌟 Charlie was also in action today and made it through to the 3rd round in Kumite in a highly stacked category. Charlie fought clinically and demonstrated some incredible talent. Super proud of you bud 👏

🏆🏆 We have another world champion - Ethan Swinton 13yrs, other styles kata Gold 🥇🥇🥇

🌟 Ethan has followed in fellow teammate, Gabriel’s footsteps to bring this categories title home to our dojo yet again!! We are so unbelievably proud of you Ethan. You are a well loved member of our team and deserve this title so much 👏👏👏

🌟 Charlie was also in action today demonstrating some incredible skill but narrowly missing out on a place in the next round by 1 place. His attitude and sportsmanship was outstanding throughout ♥️

🇷🇴🇷🇴 Tonight our small but mighty team flew the Kenshin Karate Organisation - KKO flag high at the opening ceremony for WUKF world championships 🇷🇴🇷🇴
