Scarlet fever is a contagious infection that mostly affects children and is easily treated by antibiotics.

Following a rise in cases, find a reminder of the signs and symptoms here: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/scarlet-fever/

We’ve made chocolate nests today!! See in the comments what we used instead of mini eggs (they petrify me!!)

Little signs of Spring are popping up all over the place... daffodils, snowdrops, and, oh yes, Mini Eggs! 🐣 One of life’s greatest pleasures, BUT have you ever noticed this before?

Mini Eggs have a warning on the back - not suitable for children under 4.

Solid chocolate eggs pose a choking risk to children - they're very similar in shape and size to grapes.

So, it might just be for the best if you (carefully) eat them yourself... 🤣

And if you don't already know what to do if a child starts choking, visit www.minifirstaid.co.uk to book a place on a class near you.

Learn how to save a life. 💚
