We have exciting news for families seeking quality childcare in Hereford! We now have spaces available from September in our unique setting.

Nestled in a beautiful rural location, Loobylou's Childcare operates from a spacious converted mill, offering children plenty of room to play, learn, and develop. Our large secured garden provides ample outdoor opportunities. We believe in enriching experiences, which is why we take the children out every day to exciting places such as childminder playgroups, local parks, farms, zoos, activity centres, soft play centres, National Trust sites, and woodland walks, among many more! As Alfred Wainwright said, "There's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing!"

Run by Louise and Andy, both registered childminders with enhanced DBS certificates and Paediatric First Aid training, we offer a warm, safe, and friendly home environment with a family atmosphere. We are proud to hold an Ofsted Good rating, reflecting our commitment to high-quality care.

With over 20 years of childcare experience, Louise holds a Level 5 in EYFS, Level 3 in Childcare, and Child Psychology. We are passionate about early years development, following the EYFS curriculum and teaching through play. Our approach is influenced by esteemed methods such as Montessori, Waldorf, the Curiosity Approach, and Hygge. We also incorporate 'sing and sign' and individualised sleep training methods to support each child's unique needs.

We offer 'All Inclusive' childcare to make things easier for you, ensuring you don't need to worry about finding money for extras. Your child will receive individual attention whilst enjoying interaction with others, fostering a happy and confident start to their journey.

Childminders do so much more than provide childcare; they create safe spaces, build confidence, encourage learning, offer comfort, celebrate milestones and help children thrive.

It is also a lovely opportunity to say a heartfelt thank you to all of our wonderful childminding families. Your trust, support and kindness mean so much, and it is a privilege to be part of your children’s early years journey.
